In Loving Memory of Jorge Francisco Gonzalez Valdez
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Jorge Francisco Gonzalez Valdez, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 38.

Born on a beautiful morning on August 15, 1987, to Norma Valdez and Rogelio Ballesteros, Jorge was a light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was known for his incredible sense of humor, contagious energy, and his remarkable ability to bring joy wherever he went. Wherever Jorge was, laughter followed. He had a natural way of becoming the center of attention, not by seeking it, but simply by being himself.

Jorge had a free spirit and a heart that brought people together. He found joy in life’s simple yet meaningful moments—traveling, spending time with family, and gathering around the table over cafecito, contando chismes, laughter, and unforgettable conversations. He had a gift for making every room feel warmer and every moment feel lighter.

He believed in working smarter, not harder, and dreamed of building a life filled with freedom, opportunity, and security for the people he loved. Through his determination and vision, he created a life centered around what mattered most to him—his family.

Above all, Jorge’s greatest love was his son, Josiah. He was his world, his motivation, and the reason behind so many of his dreams. Everything Jorge did was rooted in the love he had for his son and his family.

Though his passing came far too soon, the impact he made will never fade. He wished to be remembered not with overwhelming sadness, but with the same joy, laughter, and love that he so generously gave to others. His legacy is one of love, connection, resilience, and truly celebrating life.

He will live on through and be remembered by his mother, Norma Valdez; his father, Rogelio Ballesteros; his beloved son, Josiah Valdez; his wife, Tina Barnes; and his sisters, Jasmine Gonzalez, Alondra Ballesteros, Stephanie Ballesteros, and Anahi Ballesteros.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his love, laughter, and spirit will remain with us forever.
