Terri De Metrice “Metrice” Henderson, Age 60 of Okeechobee, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2026, with her family at her side.
Born on September 18, 1965, in Mt. Pleasant, Florida to parents Connie Jones and Sangre Henderson Jr.
A graduate of Immokalee High School in 1983, Metrice spent her years there in chorus and as a proud member of the Marching Band Flag Corp. After high school Metrice spent a few years in the medical field before turning her attention to raising her family. She was creative, loved to cook, dance and share her beautiful singing voice.
Metrice is survived by her parents, Connie Jones and Sangre Henderson Jr, children Thaddius and Sh-Nia Henderson, siblings- Tawanna Jones, Troy Jones, Sangre Henderson III, Kelvin
Henderson, Dawn Henderson, Sankerrya Henderson, Sandendrick Henderson and Brandon Henderson, a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends and her loyal 4-legged companion, Diesel.
Metrice will be laid to rest at a private family celebration of her life on June 12, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee, FL.
